MACON, Ga. – The Atlantic Sun Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field season is set to get underway this weekend with three squads competing in their opening meets.

Both ETSU and USC Upstate will be competing in the Orange and Purple Winter Classic in Clemson, S.C., while Kennesaw State will be traveling to the Birmingham-Southern College Panther Indoor Ice Breaker in Birmingham, Ala., on Saturday, December 1st.

The top-three men’s indoor track and field teams will be in action with the Owls coming back as the defending three-time A-Sun Champion and the Buccaneers and Spartans finishing No. 2 and No. 3 in last year’s conference championship.

KSU’s women’s team has finished in the top-three in the A-Sun Indoor Track and Field Championship for the past four years and aim for a championship break-through. The Owls look to improve on their 2012 A-Sun second-place finish with several strong returners.
