Mercer Advances to Semifinal Match Against Stetson
Macon, Ga. -- In the second evening match of the Atlantic Sun Men's Soccer Tournament, No. 3 Mercer routed No. 6 Belmont, 4-0, in the most lopsided tournament loss since 1999 to advance to the semifinals tomorrow.

Mercer scored the most goals in the school's tournament history with four, scoring three in the second half. The Bears had scoring contributions from Antonio Da Costa Gama, Del Olaoye, Alan Colgan and Omar Liendo. Aldo Basano recorded five saves and was credited with the shutout.

The Bears limited the Bruins to only one scoring opportunity that came in the first half.

Mercer will face No. 2-seeded Stetson tomorrow at 7 pm.
