Tuesday, July 11, 2006 NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Lipscomb University men's soccer coach Charles Morrow's recruiting class for 2006 is one of the most diversified in the brief history of the program with two international players joining teammates from seven states in the 11-man class. Morrow, who is beginning his second season at the helm of the Bisons, has announced the following new additions: Miguel DaSilva: Born in Angola, DaSilva has been living in Lauderhill, Fla., where he graduated from the American Heritage School. DaSilva, 6-foot, 157 pounds, is a three-time All-State, All-Region and All-District selection in 2004, 2005 and 2006. He served as captain of his high school team in 2006. He was named "Offensive" MVP of his high school team in 2004 and 2006. As a sophomore he scored 21 goals with 11 assists. His junior year he scored 17 goals and was credited with nine assists. As a senior he scored 27 goals and made 15 assists. |
