Tuesday, October 16, 2007 MACON, Ga. - In the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's South Region Top 10 poll released on Tuesday, three Atlantic Sun teams appear in the poll. Jacksonville joined No. 8 Campbell and No. 9 Stetson at the No. 10 spot. Jacksonville enters the polls after rattling off five wins in its first six Atlantic Sun games. The Dolphins' lone loss in that span came against Campbell on October 4. The Dolphins sit atop the Atlantic Sun with 15 points, five clear of Lipscomb and Campbell, six ahead of Stetson. Campbell remained in the top 10 for the fifth consecutive poll despite another week with a loss. For the second straight poll, the Camels check in as the No. 8 team in the South Region. The Camels host Gardner-Webb and USC Upstate this week. Stetson dropped three spots to No. 9 in the South Region poll after splitting its two games this week, including a 1-0 loss to Jacksonville. The Hatters, who appear in the poll for the fourth consecutive week, have been ranked as high as No. 6 in the region. Stetson welcomes Belmont and Lipscomb to the Stetson Soccer Complex this weekend. The NSCAA/Adidas Regional Rankings are announced each Tuesday at noon central time. The NSCAA has been responsible for maintaining the collegiate soccer rankings since 1996 when it took over the duty from the Intercollegiate Soccer Association of America (ISAA).
