Three A-Sun Teams Earn Spots in NSCAA South Region Poll

MACON, Ga. - ETSU, FGCU and Mercer all landed in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America South Region Poll, while Belmont received votes in the rankings.

The Buccaneers defeated Davidson - No. 9 in the poll - on Saturday to remain at No. 3 in the poll, while FGCU jumped up two spots after it earned a victory against Saint Louis (Last Week's No. 9 in Mid-Atlantic Region) and narrowly fell to UC Irvine (No. 1 in Far West Region).

Mercer appears in the rankings for the first time after picking up two victories against Georgia Southern and VMI. Belmont received votes in the poll following its two wins against Bowling Green (Last Week's No. 9 in Great Lakes Region) and IPFW on the weekend.
