• Three A-Sun teams landed in the NSCAA South Region Coaches Poll this week. ETSU, FGCU and Mercer also saw their names in the rankings, while Belmont received votes in the regional poll. The Buccaneers defeated Davidson - No. 9 in the poll - on Saturday to remain at No. 3 in the rankings, while FGCU jumped up two spots to No. 6 after it earned a victory against Saint Louis (Last Week's No. 9 in Mid-Atlantic Region). Mercer appears in the rankings for the first time after picking up two victories against Georgia Southern and VMI. ETSU is also ranked nationally as high as No. 22.
• In not even three seasons, Belmont's Brandon Tarr has nearly taken over the Bruins history books as the junior has 49 career points and 20 goals. Tarr needs six points to pass former Bruin Fernando Castellanos (2002-03) for the top spot in career points and three goals to claim the goal record from Castellanos.

• Through four weeks of play, the A-Sun holds a .500 or better record against nine of the 15 men's soccer conferences it has faced. The list includes the Atlantic Coast (ACC), Big Ten, Pacific-12, West Coast, Atlantic 10, Missouri Valley, Big South, Summit and Atlantic Soccer.
• Two goalkeepers are fast approaching several A-Sun records as FGCU senior goalkeeper Adam Glick continues to move up the career charts and ETSU's Ryan Coulter eyes the single-season marks. Glick currently sits tied for third all-time in shutouts with 18 clean sheets in his career, while he also ranks 20th in career saves with 239. Coulter's five shutouts on the season is one away from tying for tenth most in a season, while the Bucs still have 12 games remaining on the schedule. His 0.83 GAA also currently ranks as the seventh best single-season mark.
• Mercer's Josh Heavner and Belmont's Nico Olsak both tallied three assists in a single game last week with Heavner achieving the feat against VMI and Olsak dishing out three vs. IPFW. The achievement tied the duo for third-most in A-Sun history. The feat has been accomplished on 27 other occasions including five last season.
• ETSU's David Geno has a nose for finding a goal at the right time this season as he leads the A-Sun in game-winning goals with three. Geno has registered the game-winner in the Bucs' last two wins against Virginia Tech and Davidson and also netted the deciding goal against Marshall earlier in the year. Last year, Jacksonville's Darko Karamatic led the way with four game-winners. Geno has four career game-winning goals in only two seasons.
• Seven A-Sun teams take unbeaten streaks into this week's games. ETSU and Belmont both own three-game winning streaks, while Mercer and Lipscomb both have two-game unbeaten streaks. FGCU, USC Upstate and Stetson also faired positively in their last contests. In total, A-Sun teams will face three ranked teams as FGCU travels to No. 9 UCF and ETSU and USC Upstate both face No. 23 Furman.
