MACON, Ga. – Four goals from Lipscomb's Garret Pettis landed him the Atlantic Sun Men's Soccer Player of the Week honor, while ETSU's Nick Dykes helped the Bucs to a crucial four-point weekend as he earned his first career Defensive Player of the Week award, announced Monday by the league office.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Garret Pettis, Lipscomb (Sr. – Forward – Elizabethtown, Pa. – Health and Physical Education)
• Third Career Player of the Week award; first this season
• Tied a program record with four goals against North Florida; all in the first 30 minutes
• Performance ranks tied for seventh-best in A-Sun history
• Helped Pettis overtake the points lead in the conference and push Bisons into tie for second

OTHER NOMINEES:
• Alex Jenison (So., Belmont) – Tallied goals in each of Belmont's matches to help Bruins to 1-0-1 week
• Stefan Durr (Sr., Jacksonville) – Netted game-winner vs. Lipscomb and equalizer against Belmont
• David Geno (So., ETSU) – Scored game-winning goal vs. FGCU to snap Eagles 12-game conference win streak

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Nick Dykes, ETSU (Fr. – Defender – Nashville, Tenn. – Sports Science)
• First Career Player of the Week award
• Scored the equalizing goal in a 2-1 win vs. FGCU to snap the Eagles conference win streak at 12
• Helped the Bucs to seventh shutout of the season in 0-0 tie against Stetson
• Propelled Bucs to seven points in conference play

OTHER NOMINEES:
• Brent McGee (Sr., Lipscomb) – Earned second shutout of the season in 5-0 win vs. North Florida
• Luis Ocejo (Jr., Stetson) – Netted goal in 3-2 win against USC Upstate; helped Hatters to a 0-0 tie at ETSU
• Lou Manning (Jr., Belmont) – Recorded eight saves and a shutout in 1-0-1 weekend for the Bruins
