• In a 5-0 win against North Florida, Lipscomb's senior forward Garret Pettis netted the game's first four goals - all of which came in the first 30 minutes. The feat won Pettis the A-Sun Player of the Week honor and also a spot on the Soccer America National Team of the Week. The four goals tied Lipscomb's record for most goals in a single game and tied for seventh-best in A-Sun history.

• Last weekend, ETSU hosted the top-two teams in the A-Sun over the past three seasons, FGCU and Stetson. Entering with only three points in their first four conference games, ETSU claimed a crucial four points against the Eagles and Hatters. On Friday, the Bucs tied Stetson 0-0 then on Sunday, ETSU snapped FGCU's 12-game winning streak in a 2-1 comeback victory. The defending A-Sun Tournament Champions now sit tied for the final spot in this year's championship with two league matches remaining.

The first NCAA Men's Soccer RPI rankings came out this week and three A-Sun teams appeared in the top-100. FGCU led the way at No. 41, while ETSU followed at No. 61. Jacksonville, who sits atop the A-Sun standings, appeared in 90th. The A-Sun has claimed a collective seven wins against ranked squads this season.

• The individual points race in the A-Sun might come down to the final weekend of play as five players are separated by only five points for the conference lead. Pettis currently leads the league with 19 points, while Belmont's Brandon Tarr is close behind with 17. Stetson's Jonathan Mendoza (16), ETSU's Aaron Schoenfeld (15) and David Geno (14) complete the top-five. Last season, only four points separated the top-10 point producers.

• At 4-0-1 in A-Sun play, Jacksonville sits atop the conference standings heading into the River City Rumble with North Florida on Sunday. With a win or tie against the Ospreys, JU will clinch a spot in the conference championship. Three other teams can clinch spots in postseason tournament this weekend. FGCU, Lipscomb and Belmont can all lock in tournament spots with two victories. The Eagles face the Bruins and Bisons this weekend.

• FGCU remained at No. 4 in the NSCAA South Region Poll this week and was joined by Jacksonville in the rankings at No. 10. ETSU fell from the rankings, but still received votes in the coaches poll.

• Earlier in the month, FGCU's senior goalkeeper Adam Glick was named a Lowe's Senior CLASS Award Finalist for his achievements on the pitch, in the classroom and in his local community. Glick currently ranks 18th in A-Sun history for career saves, while his 19 career shutouts ranks third most in the A-Sun. Vote for Adam Glick

• Eight conference games are slated for the next six days. In between Friday and Thursday, the A-Sun will also face two non-conference opponents in Clemson and UCF. ETSU hosts Clemson on Monday and will look to defeat the Tigers for the second-straight season. Stetson welcomes the Golden Knights to DeLand for a chance to be the second A-Sun team to defeat UCF this season.
