• Stetson claimed a 1-1 tie with No. 9 UCF on Tuesday to earn the A-Sun its ninth win/tie against top-25 ranked teams this season. On six occasions, A-Sun teams have earned victories against ranked squads.
• Currently, four conference squads rank in the RPI Top-100. FGCU leads the way at No. 34, while ETSU follows the Eagles at No. 71. Jacksonville and Stetson appear at No. 91 and 100, respectively. Mercer isn't far behind at 118.

• Last weekend, Jacksonville, FGCU and Stetson all clinched spot in the 2011 A-Sun Men's Soccer Championship. The Dolphins currently sit at the top of the league at 5-0-1 and can clinch a first-round bye in the conference championship with a win against the Eagles on Thursday. FGCU can also lock up a first-round bye with a win against JU, while Lipscomb can lock in a berth in the tournament with a victory against Mercer.

• The individual points race in the A-Sun continues to be a tight one as a new leader emerged after last weekend. Stetson's Jonathan Mendoza, the A-Sun Player of the Week, registered three goals in two matches to push his season points total to 22. Lipscomb's Garret Pettis (19) and Belmont's Brandon Tarr (17) trails the Hatters junior, while ETSU's duo of sophomore David Geno (16) and senior Aaron Schoenfeld (15) aren't far behind.

• FGCU remained at No. 4 in the NSCAA South Region Poll this week and was joined by Jacksonville in the rankings at No. 9 - one spot higher than last week. ETSU still picked up votes in the poll after earning a draw against Clemson on Monday.

• Earlier in the month, FGCU's senior goalkeeper Adam Glick was named a Lowe's Senior CLASS Award Finalist for his achievements on the pitch, in the classroom and in his local community. Glick currently ranks 18th in A-Sun history for career saves, while his 19 career shutouts ranks third most in the A-Sun. Vote for Adam Glick
