NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Lipscomb clinched a berth in the 2011 A-Sun Men's Soccer Championship with the 1-1 draw against Mercer on Thursday night. The tie moved Lipscomb to 3-4-1 and 10 points in conference play as its A-Sun schedule is now complete.

Mercer moves to 2-3-2 with 8 points with one game remaining against Belmont on Sunday. Two other teams currently sit at eight points as Belmont and USC Upstate are 2-3-2 in conference play with one game remaining. The Spartans square off with ETSU on Saturday.
