ETSU Takes First Place in #ASunMSoc on Wednesday

MACON, Ga. - Wednesday men's soccer action in the Atlantic Sun featured wins by ETSU and Northern Kentucky. The Buccaneers moved into first place in the A-Sun with a 4-1 win vs. USC Upstate.

NKU pulled a double-overtime victory at UNC Asheville with a Brendan Murphy penalty kick in the 107th minute. ETSU's Luis Calzadilla netted two goals to push the Bucs to 5-2 in league play.

ETSU's David Geno assisted on both of Calzadilla's goals to push his career point total to 69 - most among active A-Sun players. The victory for NKU pushed its unbeaten streak to six matches.
