CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. -- The University of North Florida clinched at least a share of the Atlantic Sun Conference regular season crown on Thursday afternoon, as it rolled to a 6-1 win at Northern Kentucky.

The Ospreys swept the doubles point, their 12th in 13 matches, before taking wins in five of the six singles matches to earn the victory.

Senior Julien Belair and sophomore Timo Kranz, paired up for just the third time this year, rolled to an 8-3 win at No. 2 to move to 3-0 on the season, before pairings of senior Daniel Sotomarinoa and sophomore Norbert Nemcsek (No. 1) and senior Leonardo Nahar and freshman Bernardo Craveiro (No. 3) grabbed 8-6 wins to complete the sweep.

Belair highlighted the singles matches for UNF, as he earned his 12th-straight win with a 7-5, 6-2 triumph in just his second match at No. 1 this season. The senior's winning streak is the longest in UNF's history.

Sotomarino grabbed a hard-fought 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 2, while Nemcsek also came back to prevail in three sets at No. 3, 3-6, 6-1, 7-5.

Nahar earned a straight-set victory at No. 4, 6-4, 6-3, while freshman Bernardo Craveiro raised his dual match record to 4-1 with a 6-4, 7-5 win at No. 6.

With the win, UNF moves to 13-7 on the year, with a still-flawless 7-0 mark in A-Sun play. In addition to sealing at least a share of the regular season title, the Ospreys also clinched the No. 1 seed in next week's six-team Atlantic Sun Tournament. UNF will have a bye through to Saturday's semifinals, where it will face the winner of Friday's 4-5 matchup.

The Ospreys will conclude their regular season on Saturday afternoon, when they travel to Nashville, Tenn. to take on Lipscomb in a match scheduled to start at 2 p.m. A win in that match will give UNF its first-ever outright A-Sun regular season title.
