MACON, Ga. - The Campbell men's tennis squad wrapped up a three-loss conference season this past week and the number three seed in next week's Atlantic Sun Conference Tennis Championships led by freshman Larbi Lamzouri. On Friday, the conference office awarded him his first career Player of the Week honor.
The business administration major was 2-1 in singles action with wins versus Gardner-Webb's Andrew Veeder 7-5, 6-1 and USC Upstate's Renzo Airaldi 6-2, 6-4. The Meknes, Morocco native also picked up a doubles win against GWU.
The Atlantic Sun Conference is a 12-member league committed to Building Winners for Life, with a focus on academic and athletic integrity and a balance between the two for the student-athlete, and maintaining a high level of sportsmanship.
