Saturday, March 25, 2006 CLEMSON, S.C. – Gardner-Webb saw two school records go down and two more tied in the early stages of this weekend’s Clemson Relays, as Jerel Langley shattered the javelin mark and Cody MacArthur took down the hammer record on the men’s side.Langley broke the school’s javelin mark by six feet on Friday night, hurling the spear 188’01” to finish fourth in the individual final standings. The Ball Ground, Ga., native had been inching closer to the mark all season, throwing 172’ last weekend in Charlotte. MacArthur took down the hammer record early Saturday morning, uncorking a throw of 157’11” in what is shaping up to be a fine season for the GWU field corps.
