MACON, Ga. - Greg Dunston of Campbell ran away from the competition in the 100 meters and 200 meters at the Irwin Belk Invitational this weekend, capturing his first Atlantic Sun Men's Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honor, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Dunston, a junior criminal justice major, came away with two first-place performances this weekend, winning the 100 meters in a time of 10.90 and the 200 meters in 21.89. The Raleigh, N.C. native won the 100 meters by defeating Campbell teammate Cardel Johnson, who placed second. Dunston also led a Camel-heavy contingent of runners in the 200 meters, as Campbell claimed the top four finishers in the event.
Dunston boasts the conference's best showings in the 100 meters and 200 meters this season, setting a regional qualifying mark in the 100 with a 10.55 at the Winthrop Invitational on March 28.

Jeremy Longshore, GWU (Sr. - Pole Vault - Sports Management - Pacolet, S.C.) - Won the Catamount Classic with a vault of 4.80m (15'9"), which is the top mark in the league this season.
Gianni Catalano, KSU (Fr. - Mid-Distance - Undeclared - Amherst, Ohio) - Placed sixth in the 800 meters at the LSU Alumni Gold in a time of 1:51.81, the top time in the A-Sun this season.
