UNF's Klein Receives Administrator of the Year Award

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Kathy Klein, Senior Associate Athletic Director/Senior Woman Administrator of the University of North Florida, has been honored with a Jostens Administrator of the Year Award.

This prestigious award, given out by the National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators (NACWAA, www.nacwaa.org), is granted to eight individuals yearly, recognizing each for their administrative excellence in the field.

“I am both extremely honored by and appreciative of receiving this prestigious award,” said Klein. “During my career spanning almost 40 years, I have been truly blessed to be associated with outstanding administrators, coaches, staff and especially student-athletes who make ‘work’ a labor of love. Their encouragement combined with the love, support, and patience of my family has made this possible.”

Demonstrating her commitment, cooperation and allegiance to intercollegiate athletics, Klein has set herself apart. Since joining the UNF staff in 1994, she has had many responsibilities managing, supervising and supporting the direction of UNF to its transition into a Division I program.
