Belmont's Logan Simmons' ejection from the baseball game versus Tennessee Tech on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 calls for a standard minimum penalty under Conference Policy.
Since the ejection occurred in a non-conference contest the suspension shall be served in the next scheduled non-conference contest, set for Wednesday, March 12, 2008 vs Austin Peay. In addition, Simmons will be on probation for the remainder of the 2008 season. Any further unsporting conduct or violation may result in a single-game or multi-game suspension.
