MACON, Ga. - Preseason All-Conference first baseman Andrea Migliori knocked in eight runs to help Stetson to a 5-0 weekend to earn Player of the Week award. Amanda Lindsey went 4-0 during the Hatters six-game winning streak to earn Pitcher of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Migliori put up an eye-popping 1.413 OPS (.875 SLG and .538 OBP) in seven games this week as the Hatters ended with six straight wins and a Stetson Classic team title. The Winter Garden, Fla., native hit three more home runs to reach 50 for her career, setting the Stetson career RBI record in the process. The milestone and the record came on the same swing, a game-tying two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh against nationally ranked Iowa; the Hatters went on to win 6-5 in 8 innings.

That game was the last of three straight contests in which the senior went deep; she also hit long and clutch shots in wins against Liberty and Hartford. In the weekend finale against Cornell, Migliori walked twice and collected a week-high three RBI to lead Stetson to a 10-1 run-rule victory over the Big Red.

Lindsey keyed Stetson's six-game winning streak with a 4-0 record in the circle that included an extra-innings win against Iowa, ranked #22 in the UCS poll and receiving votes from NFCA and USA Softball. The junior biology major didn't allow any earned runs in that game. Lindsey of Byhalia, Miss., followed up that performance with a 10-strikeout, three-hit shutout against Cornell the next day; earlier in the week she tied her career high with 14 strikeouts in a 1-0 8-inning win over Liberty that ended a 9-game Hatter losing streak.

At the plate, Lindsey had RBI in three straight games including a game-tying home run against Hartford Friday afternoon and a three-run shot off Iowa ace Brittany Weil that put Stetson ahead 3-0 in the fifth inning.
