MACON, Ga. - The 2011 Capital One Academic All‐District ® Softball Teams, selected by CoSIDA, have been released and five Atlantic Sun student-athletes earned recognition for their combined performance on the floor and in the classroom.

USC Upstate's record-setting pitcher Morgan Childers made the First Team, a year after landing on the second team. Stetson's Jill Semento also earned First-Team honors.

Campbell teammates Lizzie Goldbach and Sarah Forgacs each earned Second-Team accolades as did Kennesaw State infielder Brittany Moore.

Childers and Semento will be placed in the pool for Academic All-America honors.
