DELAND, Fla. - The Atlantic Sun Championship presented by Coca-Cola begins on Thursday morning with six games being played on day one at Patricia Wilson Field on the campus of Stetson University.
Every game of the championship will be videostreamed (available on a subscription basis) through a partnership of Stetson University, XoS and the Atlantic Sun Conference. Fans can purchase a subscription for the entire championship for just $9.95.
No. 3 ETSU faces No. 4 Lipscomb in the tournament's first game. The Lady Bucs piled up 25 runs in their doubleheader sweep of the Lady Bisons earlier this year. The A-Sun's North Carolina contingent is featured in game two as No. 2 Gardner-Webb looks to extend their best Division I season into tournament play when they face No. 5 Campbell. The Fighting Camels got the best of the rivalry in the season's final weekend, sweeping GWU with a pair of shutouts. Top-seeded Stetson hosts No. 6 Mercer in the final first round game.
Only Stetson and Campbell have won tournament titles with the Hatters claiming three straight from 1986-88 and the Camels taking home the crown in 1995.
