CHAPEL HILL, N.C.-Senior hurler Christina Gwyn Trice tossed her second no-hitter of the season, fanning 14 Camels as Brigham Young edged Campbell 1-0 in NCAA Regional softball action at Williams Field.

The Camels, going for their second win of the day after downing North Carolina, fall to 42-25 with the loss, while BYU improves to 44-19 on the year.

The Cougars put up the game's only run in the fifth set, scoring freshman second baseman Kristin Delahoussaye on a Daniela Snow double.

Campbell managed two base runners in the contest, the first coming when junior first baseman Karlie Love was hit by a pitch. Sophomore catcher Amanda Littlejohn reached in the top of the seventh for the Camels on a Cougar error.

Stephan (15-15) took the loss, going the distance while allowing one run on four hits, striking out six and walking two Cougars. Trice (19-8) handed the Camels 14 strikeouts in the contest, 10 looking, while allowing only two base runners.

The Camels end their 2008 campaign after breaking several school records, including hits, doubles, home runs, RBI, total bases, time hit by pitch, walks, among others. Their 42 wins is the second most by a CU team in history, falling just short of 1995's 47 victories.

The Cougars will move on to face No. 15 Georgia in the Chapel Regional Championship game tomorrow at 1 p.m.
