DeLAND, Fla. - Nicole Peltz's two-out seventh inning single to left field brought in Megan Voeller for a 3-2, walk-off Hatter victory against ETSU and advancement in the 2009 Atlantic Sun Softball Championship presented by Holiday Inn Express at Patricia Wilson Field. Amanda Lindsey picked up the win to advance her record to 12-14.

With the score knotted at two, Voeller reached safely via a base on balls and moments later advanced on Chelsey Trotto's sacrifice bunt. The next batter, Brittany Knipp grounded out to first, placing Voeller on third.

With Voeller at third, the stage was set for Peltz's game-winning pinch-hit RBI single.

Stetson struck early when Stetson's hot bat, Andrea Migliori lifted the Hatters to a 2-0 lead after bashing her third homerun of the day (first of the game), marking her 15th of the season and career 57th.

In the bottom of the third inning, Second-Team All-Conference selection Amy Joyce singled to second base. The Lady Bucs intentionally walked Migliori. On a passed ball, Migliori and Joyce advanced. Amanda Bailey then stepped up to the plate, reaching base on a fielder's choice to Hardy. ETSU lucked out as Katelyn Perna popped out to leave all three runners on base.

The Lady Bucs came out in the fourth inning charged up to tie the game. Trisha Massenzo started the push with a single through the right side. Jessie Hackworth grounded out, advancing Massenzo to second. Demers walked Annie Martin before Chelsea O'Connor bunted and loaded the bases. Caitlin Zyskowski finished the push with a well hit ball up the middle, scoring Massenzo and Martin to tie it up at 2-2.

Lindsey pitched three innings in relief of starter Erica Demers for the win, with two hits and two strike outs. Hardy tossed 129 pitches with five hits, six walks and six strikeouts.

The championship continues as No. 2 Lipscomb and No. 3 Mercer play at 6:00 p.m. Campbell and Jacksonville wrap up the day at 8:00 p.m.
