Newcomers East Tennessee State and the University of North Florida picked up their first conference wins with victories over Campbell and Stetson.

ETSU edged Campbell in games three and four, as the Lady Bucs downed the Fighting Camels, 3-1 (24-30, 30-22, 31-29, 33-31), to earn their first-ever Atlantic Sun contest, Friday night in Brooks Gym.

In the A-Sun match of the week, UNF blanked Stetson 3-0 (30-24, 30-21, 30-28) in its first Atlantic Sun Conference match rallying from a late deficit in game three to extend its season winning streak to four games in the conference opener.
