JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The University of North Florida volleyball program will get plenty of early season tests in 2006, playing in five regular-season tournaments in August and September, UNF head coach Bryan Bunn said this week when announcing his squad's 2006 schedule.

The Lady Ospreys, who are beginning their second season at the Division I level, finished 19-10 overall in 2005 and in third place in the Atlantic Sun Conference. With the departure of defending A-Sun champion Florida Atlantic to a new conference, UNF will have its sights set on making a move to the top of the A-Sun standings this fall.

"We are excited about our 2006 schedule and the team that we have returning," Bunn said. "We have some strong challenges early in the year before we get to conference play, which will hopefully prepare us for our A-Sun schedule. Every match will present a unique challenge."
