This Week in A-Sun Volleyball

Belmont will host cross-town rival Tennessee State in a Tuesday night matchup. The Brurins (2-0) opened up their 2006 campaign in grand style in the heart of dixie, claiming convincing wins over Samford and host Birmingham-Southern as part of the Magic/Music City Challenge. Meanwhile, Tennessee State returns six starters from a team that went 22-11 a year ago en route to an OVC Championship. Belmont is 11-5 all-time versus Tennessee State. Last year, the Tigers rallied from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Belmont at the Curb Event Center in five games.
