Gardner-Webb Bulldogs

The Gardner-Webb volleyball team went 1-3 last week. After dispatching Winston-Salem State in three games (30-14, 30-12, 30-12), the Bulldogs traveled to Wilmington for the UNC Wilmington Invitational. Despite playing Winthrop tougher than most have all year long, GWU fell in three games. The Bulldogs could not bounce back, falling to UNC Wilmington (3-0) and to Georgia State (3-1). GWU heads to Charleston Southern on Tuesday for its last tune-up before hosting ETSU and Kennesaw State.
