A-Sun Match of the Week

GWU at Campbell
Buies Creek, NC

This pivotal match put could make the difference in who takes the final two spots in the tournament. With a Gardner-Webb win, the Bulldogs would clinch the fifth seed, while a loss could mark a potential three-way tie between them, Campbell and Mercer.

REGULAR SEASON CHAMPS: ETSU
ETSU became regular season champs Sunday afternoon after going undefeated in its final conference match against Mercer. The Lady Bucs, who are on a 13 game tear, will be the top seed come tournament time.

TOURNAMENT TIME
With only two spots remaining for the 2006 A-Sun Volleyball Tournament, there are three teams that could possibly tie. Gardner-Webb, Campbell and Mercer could potentially tie at 3-6, causing a logjam at the bottom of the standings. Stetson would have to hand a loss to Mercer to take them out of contention.
