FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Lipscomb Lady Bisons made a statement Saturday night with a three-set sweep of FGCU in the A-Sun Volleyball Match of the Week. The Lady Bisons won in three sets; 25-22, 25-21 and 25-18.

It marked only the second loss for Florida Gulf Coast in Alico Arena since 2007.

The loss was the first in an Atlantic Sun match for Florida Gulf Coast.

The Lady Bisons have won their last five matches, all by 3-0 sweeps. It marks the first time the Lady Bisons have won five matches in a row by 3-0 decisions.

Outside hitters Meghan Hinemeyer and Kaycee Green each made 11 kills. Green also posted a .333 hitting percentage.

Setter Stefine “Jake” Pease was credited with 35 assists and 11 digs.

Libero Katie Rose made 12 digs.

The Lady Bisons are 8-3, 5-0 in the A-Sun. Florida Gulf Coast is 6-6, 5-1 in the conference.
