ETSU’s Stancliff Earns Player of the Week Nod

MACON, Ga. – After claiming the Radford Tournament MVP honors by leading ETSU to a 3-0 record and the tournament title, Buccaneers’ junior middle blocker Jamie Stancliff earned the Atlantic Sun Conference Volleyball Player of the Week title the conference announced on Tuesday. Stancliff finished the tournament with 26 kills, 10 blocks, five digs and a .456 hitting percentage.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Jamie Stancliff, ETSU (Middle Blocker – Jr. – Advance, N.C. – Education)
• First-time A-Sun Player of the Week winner
• Radford Tournament MVP with 26 kills and 10 blocks for the Bucs
• Notched 13 kills and a .423 hitting percentage against Canisius
• Registered three kills, four aces and three blocks against Norfolk State
• Helped the Bucs to a 3-0 mark to claim the tournament title.

OTHER NOMINEES:
• Aidan Yeager (OH, Jacksonville) – tallied 34 kills, 2.83 kills per set  and 21 blocks
• Kaycee Green (OH, Lipscomb) -- Pittsburgh Invitational All-Tournament Team with 33 kills
• Mindy Quimby (OH, USC Upstate) -- Appalachian Invitational All-Tournament team with 33 kills
• Kayla Albritton (OH, Belmont) – 61 kills and 13 blocks for Nevada Invitational All-Tournament
• Allyson Goldbach (OH, Campbell) - set career-high hit percentage at .625 in 3-0 win vs. Hampton
• Amiee Frutchey (OH, Mercer) – knocked down 39 kills as Bears went 2-2; tallied 51 digs
