MACON, Ga. - Nine #ASunVB matches are on the weekend's agenda, featuring a Stetson/FGCU battle and ETSU squaring off with Lipscomb in matches featuring the top half of the conference. A pair of matches from Lipscomb and Kennesaw State can be seen on ESPN 3 and six others on ASun.TV.

Three teams are .700 or better over their last 10 matches: Jacksonville (.800, 8-2), Stetson (.700, 7-3) and Lipscomb (.700, 7-3). Additionally, ETSU and FGCU take their win streaks of five and four games, respectively, on the road this weekend.

Stetson hosts FGCU on Oct. 4 in the only match of the weekend for both teams. Stetson's win streak ended on Tuesday with a 3-0 loss at FAU, but the Hatters are 9-0 at home for the first time in school history and 4-0 in A-Sun play since 2002. FGCU has won four straight, including three consecutive A-Sun matches, and currently sits in a tie for third with Jacksonville. The Eagles would like to continue to string wins together as they did last year en route to their regular season title.

Each of the five wins comprising ETSU's current win streak has come on the road, and the Bucs once again look to make their fortunes away from home this weekend at Northern Kentucky (Oct. 4) and Lipscomb (Oct. 5). The Bucs swept the Norse last season and are 1-4 in their last five meetings with the Lady Bisons. Offense should be at a premium in the match-up between Lipscomb and ETSU, as the Lady Bisons lead the NCAA for the third straight week in kills per game and reigning A-Sun Player of the Year Megan Devine is only 88 kills away from becoming the A-Sun's career leader.

Jacksonville heads to the Peach State for its road swing with Mercer and Kennesaw State, and the Dolphins have fared well in the two series. JU holds a 3-2 edge in the last five with the Owls, and a 4-1 mark against the Bears. After getting off to a 9-0 start, JU has won three of its last five and two straight in the A-Sun. JU's only conference loss is to leader Stetson.

North Florida joins Jacksonville in its road matches at Mercer and Kennesaw State, as the Ospreys are 1-4 against the Owls and 2-3 with Mercer in their last five meetings. USC Upstate also travels to Lipscomb and Northern Kentucky, as the Spartans will try for their first win in the brief series with NKU as well as get their first win in six tries with Lipscomb.
