#ASunVB Championship Set for First Serve on Thursday

KENNESAW, Ga. - The 2013 Atlantic Sun Volleyball Championship begins on Thursday with two first-round matches as No. 4 FGCU and No. 5 Stetson begin at 5 p.m., followed by No. 3 Lipscomb and No. 6 Kennesaw State at 7:30 p.m.

Kennesaw State serves as host of the A-Sun Championship for the first time, as the Owls return to the championship after appearing last in 2011. Four teams return from last year's championship field: Defending champ ETSU, Lipscomb, FGCU and Jacksonville. Stetson makes its first appearance since 1995 to round out this year's field.

The winner of the FGCU - Stetson match will advance to top seeded Jacksonville on Friday at 5:30 p.m., while the victor of Lipscomb - KSU takes on No. 2 ETSU at 7:30 p.m. The entire championship can be seen on ESPN3 and via the WatchESPN app, bumping the total number of #ASunVB matches seen on ESPN3 this season to 25.
