Feagin Earns First Career Player of the Week Honor

MACON, Ga. - Following the Gardner-Webb volleyball program's most successful week in recent history, a week that featured a tournament title and the first victory over Davidson in school history, sophomore Regina Feagin capped the Runnin' Bulldogs achievements with her first career Player of the Week award as announced by the conference office on Monday.
Feagin was named MVP of the Runnin' Bulldog Classic after leading GWU to a 3-0 mark, including its first-ever win over Davidson in the championship match. The Bloomington, Ill. native's 52 assists and five kills helped the Runnin' Bulldogs erase a 2-1 deficit en route to the historic win over the Wildcats. For the week the setter dished out 169 assists, and compiled a .406 hitting percentage with 29 digs and six service aces, helping GWU to an unblemished 4-0 week and lifting the Runnin' Bulldogs above .500 through 11 matches for the first time since joining Division I.

Jaye Schuler, Belmont (Sr. - MH - Lexington, Ill. - Physical Education) - Led the Bruins to a 4-0 week, hitting .452 and racking up 45 kills.
Roberta Santos, FGCU (Jr. - S - Recife, Brazil - Resort/Hospitality Management) - Named MVP for the second straight week after leading the Eagles to the second consecutive tournament title.
Stefine Pease, Lipscomb (Fr. - S - Berryton, Kan. - Undecided) - Tallied 166 assists for the week and was named All-Tournament at IPFW.
