Three-time Atlantic Sun Player of the Week B.J. Banjo is the "cool-headed" point guard leading the way for ETSU's women's basketball team to top the league standings in only its first season in the conference.

Ranked 12th in the nation in scoring, Banjo has consistently scored double-digits in every game and averages 20.3 ppg.

She is one of three current players around the league to reach the 1,000 point plateau. She joins Sequenta Blackman from Gardner-Webb and Shontavia Williams from FAU. Banjo is featured in the East Tenneseean news. Reporter T.K. Owens highlights the Baltimore, Md. native's progression.
