Macon, Ga. – On the heels of a career high week, Kennesaw State's Rosetta Hollis was named Atlantic Sun Player of the Week today by the conference office. Hollis averaged 20 points and 13.5 rebounds per game as the Owls went 1-1 last week.

The rookie forward shot 50 percent from the floor and 85.7 from the charity stripe in two games. In the Mercer Blade Holiday Classic, Kennesaw State took on UNC Asheville and Savannah State. Against UNC, Hollis scored 18 points and pulled down nine rebounds in the Owls' 76-83 losing effort. She was 6-of-6 from the line.

The next day, Hollis put up career-best numbers, racking up 22 points and 18 rebounds in a 74-66 victory over Savannah State. Eight her of 18 boards were offensive while shooting 8-of 14 from the floor. Hollis is majoring in Early Childhood Education.

The 10-member league headquartered in Macon, Ga., includes Belmont, Campbell, ETSU, Gardner-Webb, Jacksonville, Kennesaw State, Lipscomb, Mercer, North Florida and Stetson, with Florida Gulf Coast and USC Upstate to compete in 2007.

Brooke Wilhoit , ETSU (Sr. - G - Seviervile, Tenn. - Exercise Science) -- Wilhoit scored a game-high 18 points on 6-10 shooting from beyond the arc in the 83-73 win at Eastern Kentucky. She hit six of the 11 three-pointers for ETSU.

Candsye Kelly, GWU (Jr. - G - Mableton, Ga. - Business Administration) -- Candyse Kelly earned all-tournament team honors at the Christmas City Classic by posting 45 points over the two games.

Danielle Gray, JU (Fr. - C - Stone Mountain, Ga. - Marketing) -- Gray was instrumental in leading the Dolphins to a 57-53 come-from-behind victory over Florida A&M, tallying a career-high 10-of-14 free throws in the contest,
