MACON, Ga. - The ETSU Lady Bucs continued their outstanding play in 2009 led by the consistent play of post Latisha Belcher. The junior scored 18 points in both conference wins last week while shooting a stratospheric 73 percent from the floor. The conference office awarded her the first Player of the Week honor of her career on Monday afternoon.

Latisha Belcher enjoyed a stellar week as she led the Lady Bucs to a pair of road conference wins at FGCU and Stetson. The 2008 Tournament MVP helped guide ETSU to a 75-67 victory against the Eagles on Thursday night, finishing with 18 points, five rebounds and four steals en route to head coach Karen Kemp earning her 200th career victory. Then, on Saturday night at Stetson, Belcher shot 8-for-13 and again ended with a game-best 18 points in the 53-52 win against the Hatters. Belcher also tallied nine rebounds, three steals and two blocks in 39 minutes inside the Edmunds Center.

Kendra Wallace, USC Upstate (G – Hurricane, W.Va. – Fr. – Undeclared) – Posted A-Sun's second 30-point game of the year with 31 point-effort against S.C. State. Tied A-Sun season-high with six 3-pointers in the game, posting A-Sun high .857 3-point field goal percentage in game (6-for-7)

Amber Rockwell, Belmont (G – Tuscaloosa, Ala. – Jr. – Exercise Science) –Notched her fifth consecutive double digit scoring game over the weekend against Campbell, netting a game-high 14 points in the Belmont victory.

Desarae Johnson, Jacksonville (F – Greer, S.C. – Jr. – Biology) – In leading the Dolphins to a 2-0 week, Johnson averaged 16.5 points, seven rebounds and 4.5 blocks while shooting 65.2 percent from the floor (15-23).
