JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The University of North Florida women’s basketball team gave back to the Jacksonville community last week as they visited the St. Catherine’s Retirement Community for their October Birthday Bash.

Each month St. Catherine’s celebrates its residents’ birthdays for that month by inviting a member of the community in to sing and entertain the residents. This month the Ospreys were also in attendance as they spent time with the St. Catherine’s residents and helped to lead them in dancing and celebrating their birthdays.

The team also helped with some of the prep work and cleaning up. After the celebration the team helped to walk the residents back to their rooms.
