Top Returning Player: Jenna Bartsokas, Senior Guard – A 2010 Preseason A-Sun All-Conference member, Bartsokas led the Lady Bisons in a number of offensive and defensive categories last season including; points per game (12.8), total points (385), field goals made (123), field goals attempted (343), 3-point field goals made (46), 3-point field goals attempted (139), steals (51), assists per game (2.2), free throws made (93) and free throw attempts (126).

Last season, Bartsokas registered double-digit point in 20 of 30 games and led the team in scoring in 15 contests. The Franklin, Tenn. native’s top game last season came against cross-town rival, Belmont, in which she poured in 28 points to lead Lipscomb past the Bruins, 74-68.

Season Opening Game: The Lady Bisons travel to Colorado Springs, Colo. to square off against the Air Force Academy on Nov. 12th in a 2 p.m. tip-off. With a 3-27 record last season, the Falcons return two starters under new head coach Andrea Williams.

Conference Game to Watch: Lipscomb at USC Upstate, Jan. 24th at 6 p.m. – Over the past three season, the Spartans and Lady Bisons have met six times and twice Lipscomb came away with a victory, but last season USC Upstate claimed a season sweep. Lipscomb’s last win against the Spartans came on Feb. 15th, 2009, when the Lady Bisons posted a 94-77 victory in Allen Arena.
