MACON, Ga. - Each day from Oct. 29th through Nov. 12th, the Atlantic Sun Conference will preview the upcoming 2010-11 women's basketball season with 11 Days of Atlantic Sun Women's Basketball. Today, we talk with Jessica Conner, a senior all-conference forward for the Stetson Hatters.

Top Returning Scorer: Tierra Brown, Senior Guard – Last season, Brown produced 10.2 points per game and added 3.3 assists per contest to guide the Hatters to a 6-14 conference mark, which included a season sweep of Kennesaw State. Brown’s top outing came on the road against Belmont in which she poured in a career-high of 23 points and dished out eight assists.

The Orlando, Fla. native registered double-digit points in 15 of the final 23 games of the season and led the team in scoring in nine contests. Along with her point and assist totals, Brown added 2.7 rebounds per game and a steal per game.

Season Opening Game: Stetson vs. Saint Leo, Nov. 13th at 1 p.m. - The Hatters open the 2010 season against Saint Leo of the Sunshine State Conference for a 1 p.m. tipoff at the Edmunds Center. Stetson finished last season at 5-9 in home games and are 2-2 in their past four home openers, which includes a loss to the Lions last season, 58-54.

Conference Game to Watch: Stetson at Mercer, Feb. 14th at 7 p.m. – The Hatters enter the season with a five-game losing streak to the Bears, dating back to 2008, but Stetson gets two cracks at Mercer including a Jan. 15th showdown in Deland. Prior to the five-game losing streak, the Hatters claimed three of four from Mercer including a season sweep in 2008.
