Thursday, January 06, 2011 BUIES CREEK, N.C. - With an 80-73 double-overtime victory against UNF, Campbell's head coach Wanda Watkins picked up win number 450 in her 30th season at the helm of the Camels' program. Tonisha Baker tallied a career-high 24 points to fuel Campbell past Atlantic Sun rival North Florida Wednesday night inside the John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center. The Lady Camels improve to 3-10 on the season with their third-straight win at home, and 2-2 in A-Sun action. UNF falls to 2-10 overall and 0-3 in league games. The game was just the fifth double overtime contest in Lady Camel history (since 1972), pushing CU's record in those contests to 3-2 all-time. The last time a Lady Camel team participated in a double overtime game was Jan. 29, 1994, a 77-73 win at Coastal Carolina. Baker, a sophomore guard, gathered her career-best point total on 10-of-20 shooting, hitting four threes, adding nine rebounds, four assists and a pair of steals. The High Point, N.C. native tallied career-highs not only in points, but field goals made and attempted, three pointers made and attempted, as well as minutes played with 43. Sophomore forward Jazmine Cooper posted 12 points with eight rebounds and a block in the win, while junior guard Amanda O'Neill registered 11 points, a season-high nine rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks. Monique Spry, a sophomore guard, was a fourth Lad Camel with double-figure points, adding 10. Spry, a Wilson, N.C. native, also posted three assists and three rebounds. Junior guard Kate Cloxton collected eight points, four assists and three boards, while senior forward Lauren Yesh gathered 11 rebounds, tying a career-high, adding two points.
