MACON, Ga. – After taking down USC Upstate and ETSU at Alico Arena, FGCU moved two steps closer to claiming their second Atlantic Sun Conference women’s basketball regular-season title. Courtney Chihil’s performance led the Eagles as she nearly recorded a triple-double against the Lady Bucs and registered a career-high 22 points vs. the Spartans. ETSU’s Destiny Mitchell continued to show the A-Sun she is a force to be reckoned with by recording two double-doubles on the week en route to claiming her fourth A-Sun Newcomer of the Week award.
