Jacksonville, UNF Set For River City Rumble on CSS

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - UNF travels across town to the campus of Jacksonville for the second installment of the River City Rumble with both games being broadcast on CSS with the men's game airing at 7:30 p.m. and the women's game following it on tape-delay. Both games can also be viewed live on ESPN3.com at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

In the first meeting of the crosstown rivals, UNF and JU split as the Ospreys' women earned a 58-44 victory behind Brittany Kirkland's 24 points, while the Dolphins edged UNF in the men's game by one point in overtime, 63-62, as three scored in double figures for JU.

The JU men currently sit in third place in the A-Sun at 9-4, while UNF at 6-7 ties with Mercer for fifth. UNF's women's team at 8-5 can jump into a tie with Campbell for third in the legue with a victory and clinch a spot in the A-Sun Championship, while Jacksonville at 6-7 is alone in seventh in the standings.

The Dolphins are 12-1 all-time against UNF on the men's side including claiming the past 10 meetings, while JU is 8-4 against the Lady Ospreys, but UNF has claimed the past three meetings.

Matt Stewart and former ETSU head coach Sonny Smith will handle the men's broadcast, while Stewart and Former Stetson head Dee Romine will call the women's broadcast. For those outside the CSS markets, catch all the action on ESPN3.com or on ESPN Full Court.
