MACON, Ga. - Lipscomb women's basketball team finished the season ranked 21st in the nation for team cumulative GPA (3.373) during the 2010-11 season. The Lady Bisons earned the eight-seed in the 2011 Atlantic Sun Conference General Shale Brick Women's Basketball Championship.

The Lady Bisons appeared in the same ranking last season at No. 9 and are one of 17 programs to appear on the list the past two seasons. Of those 17 teams, only seven have ranked ahead of Lipscomb both seasons in regards to GPA.

Lipscomb’s senior guard and second team all-conference member, Jenna Bartsokas earned several honors including the A-Sun Student-Athlete of the Year, the A-Sun Post-Graduate Scholarship, a NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship as well as being nominated for the NCAA Woman of the Year.
