MACON, Ga. - North Florida's Brittany Kirkland led the Ospreys to two non-conference wins in the UNF Holiday Classic, while Kennesaw State's Taylor Mills averaged 18.3 PPG in three contests including 26 points on seven three-pointers against Georgia State.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Brittany Kirkland, North Florida (Sr. – Guard – Monroe, Ga. – Sport Management)

• Second Career Player of the Week award; first this season
• Led Ospreys to wins against Delaware State and Jacksonville State in UNF Holiday Classic
• Averaged 14.7 points, 5.0 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 3.0 steals in three games this week
• Posted a season-high 19 points vs. Delaware State; added seven assists vs. Jacksonville State
• Unanimous selection to Holiday Classic All-Tournament Team

OTHER NOMINEES:

• Briana Williams (So., Mercer) – Scored 27 points in overtime win against Troy; added career-high seven boards
• Haley Nelson (Sr., Belmont) – Led Bruins in scoring in both contests with 20 at Chattanooga and 11 vs. Austin Peay
• Sarah Hansen (So., FGCU) – Notched game-high 23 points vs. USC Upstate; added four steals
• Jade Cargill (So., Jacksonville) – Scored career-best 21 vs. Jacksonville State; registered first career double-double vs. ECU
• Sasha Sims (So., Stetson) – Led Hatters to conference win with 18 points and seven rebounds

NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK:
Taylor Mills, Kennesaw State (Fr. – Guard – Knoxville, Tenn.)

• Second Career Newcomer of the Week award; third of year for KSU
• Netted 26 points against Georgia State on seven three-pointers; added seven rebounds
• Led Owls to win vs. UNC-Asheville with 16 points and five assists
• Rounded out week with 13 points, four rebounds and four assists vs. Texas State
