MACON, Ga. - Ten Atlantic Sun Women's Basketball games are slated for play over the next week - nine of which are conference games. North Florida at Mercer on Jan. 21 will be streamed on ESPN3.com, while the remaining nine games can be seen on ASun.TV.

Atlantic Sun Women's Basketball Weekly Notes:
  • FGCU ranks in the top 15 nationally in scoring defense ( No. 11, 51.3 points), scoring margin (No. 4, 24.6 points), free-throw percentage (No. 15, 76.8 percent), three-point field goal made per game (No. 1, 12.2 three-pointers), three-point field goal percentage (No. 6, 38.9), won-lost percentage (No. 8, 88.9 percent) and assists per game (No. 10, 17.6 APG).
  • FGCU continues to lead the league in scoring offense, 75.9, and scoring defense, 51.3. Stetson is second in both categories, averaging 69.8 PPG and allowing 62.7 PPG.
  • Stetson’s Victoria McGowan continues to lead the conference in scoring (16.6 PPG), assists (4.9 APG), steals (3.2 SPG) and free-throw shooting (.873). She also ranks in the top-70 nationally in each category.
  • FGCU and Stetson appeared in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Poll again this week. The Eagles moved up to No. 3, while Stetson dropped two spots to No. 20. FGCU also received six votes in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll this week.
  • North Florida’s Jadhken Kerr is 10th all-time in the Atlantic Sun for career three-pointers made with 183. FGCU’s Kelsey Jacobson owns the record with 307 and counting. Lipscomb’s Anna Bowers is 11th with 181 field goals made.
  • FGCU, ETSU and USC Upstate lead the Atlantic Sun in most home wins in the last three years. FGCU tops the list with a 40-1 record, followed by ETSU with a 25-5 home record and USC Upstate with a 23-10 home record. This season, Stetson and FGCU are both undefeated at 8-0 at home.
  • Jacksonville’s defensive combo of Crystal Bell and Jade Cargill combine to average 5.1 steals per contest, which is the best 1-2 punch in the A-Sun. Kennesaw State’s Taylor Mills and Ashley Holliday rank second (4.9 SPG) and Stetson’s McGowan and Clarissa Coddington are third with 4.7 SPG.
  • Belmont’s Haley Nelson is tied for 15th in the nation for double-doubles on the season with eight. Nelson recorded two double-doubles this week.
  • FGCU’s Eglah Griffin is No. 2 in the nation for three-point field goal percentage with 49.3 percent. Griffin trails only Vanderbilt’s Christina Foggie at 50 percent.
  • Lipscomb’s Anna Bowers is closing in on 1,000 career points. She currently has 987 points, 13 points away from the milestone.

  • Kennesaw State’s Sametria Gideon leads the league in offensive rebounds with 62 on the season. Stetson’s Sasha Sims leads the league in total defensive rebounds with 110.
  • Mercer’s Briana Williams has led the conference in scoring the last two seasons with 16.7 PPG, just ahead of Stetson’s McGowan at 15.0. However, McGowan leads in total points over the same span with 797 compared to Williams’ 783.
