#ASunWBB - 1st Half of Conference Season Wraps Up Monday

MACON, Ga. - The first half of the Atlantic Sun Women's Basketball conference schedule wraps up with four Monday night contests on the bout. USC Upstate host North Florida to start tonight's action at 5 PM on ESPN 3.

Kennesaw State travels to Lipsomb, while ETSU hosts Jacksonville. Mercer looks to extend its win streak with a game a Northern Kentucky.

North Florida (9-10; 5-3) at USC Upstate (7-12; 3-5) - ESPN 3 - 5 PM
• The Spartans have won the last three contests vs. North Florida, outscoring the Ospreys by an average of 6.7 points.
• UNF’s newcomer Ki Conner hit a career-high 23 points in their last outing to lead the Osprey’s to a 65-56 win vs. ETSU.
• USC Upstate is shooting 74.9 percent from the free throw line, which ranks second in the league.
• North Florida has held its conference opponents to 59.1 PPG, No. 2 in the A-Sun behind FGCU.
• Upstate freshman Brittany Starling has taken over as the hot hand averaging 14 points in her last three contests.
• The Osprey’s Jadhken Kerr is No. 3 in the A-Sun record books with 246 career three-point field goals.

Jacksonville (7-12; 3-5) at ETSU (4-11; 2-6) - ASun.TV - 7 PM
• ETSU holds a 4-2 advantage in the series vs. Jacksonville in the past three years.
• The Dolphins won in their last two meetings vs. the Bucs. Jacksonville won its last game in Johnson City 88-82
• The Buccaneers lead the league in rebounding margin(3.8) and blocked shots (4.6).
• Jacksonville has the most players ranked in the top-20 in the A-Sun in rebounding with four total.
• Three ETSU players rank in the top-15 in the league in steals per game, the most of all squads.
• The Dolphin’s Jade Cargill is averaging 11.3 points and 8.3 rebounds in conference match-ups.

Mercer (12-7; 6-2) at Northern Kentucky (7-10; 4-4) - ASun.TV - 7 PM
• The Norse have held their conference opponents to a .378 field goal percentage, the second best defensively in the league.
• Mercer is defending a six-game win streak which ranks tied at No. 14 in the country for longest winning streak.
• Northern Kentucky’s Kayla Thacker leads the A-Sun in minutes played averaging 35.8 minutes a game.
• The Bears Precious Bridges 36 points vs. Lipscomb was the most by any player in the A-Sun this season.
• NKU has two players in the top-10 in three-point field goal percentage; Rianna Gayheart (.390) and Christine Roush (.350)
• Bridges is averaging 18.3 PPG this season which is No. 1 in the A-Sun

Kennesaw State (4-16; 0-8) at Lipscomb (2-16; 1-7) - ASun.TV - 6:30 PM CST
• Lipscomb has won two of its last three home contests vs. KSU. The two teams are even at 3-3 in the last three seasons.
• Gideon has 10 double-doubles this season and has the most career double-doubles of the active A-Sun players with 29.
• Three LU freshmen have started in over 10 games this season; Alex Banks (18), Presley Stastny (17) and Kelli Smith (13)
• Gideon needs eight rebounds to become the ninth player in A-Sun history to have 1,000 points and rebounds in their career.
• In conference play, Banks leads all freshmen in scoring with 11.8 PPG
• The Owls are committing an average of 12 fouls per game; the fifth cleanest in the country
