Monday, February 04, 2013 MACON, Ga. – FGCU continued its conference season winning streak with a 66-55 win at North Florida. The Eagles have won their last 29 conference games, which is an A-Sun record for longest streak. Stetson, USC Upstate and Northern Kentucky also secured wins in tonight's A-Sun action. With the Hatters victory they clinched a spot in the 2013 A-Sun Women's Basketball Tournament. Lipscomb's Hannah Phillips led all A-Sun players in scoring with 24 points for the Bisons tonight. Phillips is just nine points away from landing 1,000 career points as a Bison. Three A-Sun players pulled down 11 rebounds, while USC Upstate's Tweety Hawkins recorded eight assists.
