Kendra Grant's career-high 27-point performance was not enough to push the Bears to the win as McNeese State shot 47.1 percent from the field.

The Cowgirls' duo of Ashlyn and Caitlyn Baggett combined for 64 of the team's 82 points as Caitlyn recorded a game-high 38 points on the night.

The Bears were strong on the boards as Sharmesia Smith pulled down a game-high 15 rebounds, while teammate Teanna Robinson added 13 rebounds.

The Bears' junior, Sharnea Boykin tallied a game-high nine assists to collect her 444th career assist which ranks tied for No. 20 in the A-Sun record books.

Mercer's 20 win season was the most wins the Bears have collected in a season since the 1991-92 season.
