MACON, Ga. – USC Upstate guard Ebony Johnson grabbed a career-high 20 rebounds and pitched in 12 points in the Spartans victory over Bethune-Cookman, while Kennesaw State forward Britteny Henderson led the Owls to the championship game of the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center Holiday Tournament, averaging 17.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in the two tournament games, and notched the pair earned co-Player of the Week honors for their efforts the conference office announced Wednesday.

Henderson had a great week for KSU, leading the Lady Owls to the runner-up trophy at the Georgia Tech tournament. She started the tournament with a double-double with a 17-point, 11-rebound performance in KSU's 83-71 win over Harvard. Then against the host Yellow Jackets, the Atlanta native put up 18 points and 10 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the year. For the two-day event, Henderson was 12-of-16 from the floor (.750) and 11-of-13 (.846) from the charity stripe. For her efforts, the junior forward was the only Lady Owl named to the All-Tournament Team.

Johnson posted her second double-double of the season against Bethune-Cookman with game-high 12 points and career-high 20 rebounds. Her 20 rebound performance was the best individual performance in the A-Sun this year and the fifth 20-rebound game in Upstate history. Made even more impressive, the 5-7 guard's rebounding average jumped from 6.1 (10th in the conference) to 7.7 (fifth in the conference) per game. The Columbia, S.C. native started and finished a key 15-2 run in the second half with layups, as the run helped the Spartans overcome a seven-point deficit to take a six-point lead.
