Owls’ Howe Wins 10th Career Weekly Award

MACON, Ga. – For the 10th time in her four-year career, Kennesaw State’s Mackenzie Howe claimed the Atlantic Sun Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week award, announced Wednesday by the league office. The Watkinsville, Ga. native ran to a second-place finish at the Samford Invitational in a time of 18:02 to lead the Owls to fourth place at the meet.

RUNNER OF THE WEEK:
Mackenzie Howe, Kennesaw State (Sr. – Watkinsville, Ga. – Health and Exercise Science)

• Finished in second at the Samford Invitational

• Barrie Cohen (So., FGCU) – set the school record for the third consecutive meet
• Nicole Muldowney (So., Belmont) – placed seventh at the Samford Invitational in 18:57.11
