Camels’ Koh Named A-Sun’s Top Golfer for October

MACON, Ga. – Campbell’s Michelle Koh closed out the fall schedule setting a pair of school records en route to a fourth-place finish at the Palmetto Intercollegiate. She earned her first Atlantic Sun’s Women’s Golfer of the Month award, the conference announced on Thursday.

GOLFER OF THE MONTH:
Michelle Koh, Campbell (Jr. – Kuantan, Malaysia – Sport Management)

  • First A-Sun Golfer of the Month award
  • Broke school 18- (66) and 36-hole (139) school records at the Palmetto Intercollegiate
  • Finished in a fourth-place tie at the Palmetto Intercollegiate, matching her career-best finish
  • Tied for 11th at LPGA International/Xavier Invitational where Campbell tied for fourth
  • Through four tournaments, Koh owns a 74.9 stroke average, lowest on the team

OTHER NOMINEES:

  • Alexandria Buelow (So., Stetson) – Two top-10 results; shot career low 69 at Xavier Invitational
  • Ket Preamchuen (So., Kennesaw State) - Finished third at Palmetto Invitational, Owls won event
  • Megan Van Etten (Fr., FGCU) – Finished in tie for 12th at USF-Waterlefe Invitational
  • Sian Evans (Fr., ETSU) – Posted two Top 10 finishes, including 3rd at Lady Paladin Invitational
